YUKIKA
YUKIKA (유키카/ユキカ) (born 寺本來可 Teramoto Yukika 2.16.1993 in Shizukoa, Japan) is a singer and actress based in South Korea. After several gigs in her native Japan including TV roles, anime voice over, and modeling; YUKIKA came to recognition in the South Korean entertainment industry by starring in the Korean drama The Idolm@ster.KR and as a member of its tie-in girl group Real Girls Project.
After her endeavours with the project ended, she signed with the label Estimate Entertainment to begin her solo music career. She debuted in early 2019 with the single "NEON" showcasing a 80s Japanese city pop look and sound. This marked her beginning as South Korea's neo-city pop idol, following up with singles and performing covers of hit city pop songs from the 80s giving South Korea an authentic insight into the genre. Her debut album "SOUL LADY" was released in July of 2020.
