Miu Sakamoto unveils “HATSUKOI”

As previously posted. Miu Sakamoto announced via Twitter that she was working on a new album with producer Dave Liang (The Shanghai Restoration Project) once more. Finally, this past week complete information on the upcoming release has been revealed!

The album is titled “HATSUKOI“, composed of ten tracks. Set to be released in May 18th. The album will be released in two editions; a limited CD+DVD edition as well for a regular CD-only edition. The promotional single off the album is titled “Precious“, and it was released in iTunes Japan Store last week as a digital single. It reached #1 in the Electronic Music category; beating the likes of capsule, Q;indivi, and YMO (where her father, Ryuichi Sakamoto, is a member).
